Fine line tattoos
What is a fine line tattoo?
A fine line tattoo is a style of artwork that involves using smaller needle configurations to create thin, delicate lines for beautiful tattoos with a minimalist approach. Designs can often consist of script, shapes, delicate floral patterns or symbols. This style of tattooing is growing more popular and in high demand as people look for more subtle and delicate art as well as patch work styling growing popular as ever.

Why choose me for your fine line tattoo?
As a Permanent Makeup Artist I am known for using small needle configurations and carrying out delicate work on the brow and lip area. I have been in the industry since 2016, which gives me the knowledge and skill to create beautiful fine line designs. -Compared to traditional tattoo artists I have full extensive knowledge in anatomy and physiology as I studied it for 4 years. I am fully licensed and certified to carry out skin procedures, as well as being in depth with my infection control and ensuring a clean station at all times. I take my time to ensure every client who walks through my door is put at ease and thoroughly talked through each step within the treatment. I like to make sure my clients are comfortable and their happiness is my top priority. Compared to traditional shops we will not turn away smaller, more delicate pieces as we are all for the more meaningful tiny tattoos!

Finding the design you want with the perfect placement!
Do designs have to be meaningful?

-
No! Tattoos can be whatever you want as long as it makes you happy, keeping in mind it is on your body forever though.
-Placement -

When thinking of placement for your design, we have to look at the natural curvatures of your body to find the most aesthetically pleasing placement.
On the day of your appointment, we will discuss ideas of placement and I will recommend the most suited place for your design and work together to get it perfect for you and for the design to look its best!

Hand/finger tattoos
Hand/finger/palm tattoos are a little different than the standard tattoo. Due to the skin being tougher, well worn, stretched and pore-less, they come with higher risks which cannot always be mitigated. Despite the efficiency of technical skills used, tattoos in this area are the most likely to travel as the skin on fingers is very thin meaning it has a high turnover of cell regeneration which unfortunately makes it harder for ink to stay in place. This may result in thicker and messier lines - this is irreversible. For these reasons we do not recommend hand/palm/finger placement as a first choice; however, if you wish to go ahead with this placement and accept the unpredictable outcome we will be happy to help. The tattoo may need re-visiting several times or you may have to continually touch-up the areas worse affected.

Why do fine line tattoos sometimes need a touch up?
Even with proper aftercare, it is common for a fine line tattoo to require a touch-up session. This is because the nature of the fine line tattoos the work is very thin and delicate, and may not hold ink as well as thicker, bolder lines. This is nothing to worry about as its all down to natural factors.
During the healing process , the skin may also naturally reject some of the ink, which can cause the lines to appear less saturated or even patchy in some areas. Additionally, as the skin ages and changes over time, the tattoo may fade or lose some of its finer details.
